Descrizione<\/strong>
Pi\u00f9 piccola della lepre comune, orecchie\u00a0 pi\u00f9 corte e zampe posteriori pi\u00f9 strette. Mantello estivo bruno-grigio, coda bianca sopra e sotto. Mantello invernale bianco, con la punta delle orecchie nera.<\/p>\n

Habitat
<\/strong>Fasce boscate con abbondante vegetazione\u00a0 del sottobosco e margine boschivo fino a 3000 metri.<\/p>\n

Abitudini
<\/strong>Solitaria o in gruppo. Attiva soprattutto al crepuscolo e di notte. Riposa e dorme negli avvallamenti del terreno. I piccolo sono nidifughi, vengono partoriti uno alla volta.\u00a0\u00a0
<\/strong><\/p>\n
